Privacy Policy: RV Dummies YouTube Upload Tool

Effective date: October 25, 2026

About this tool

The RV Dummies YouTube Upload Tool is a private tool operated by The RV Dummies for its channel owner. It is not a public signup service. It uses YouTube API Services to identify the authorized channel and upload videos selected and approved by the owner, through Muse.

Information accessed and used

The tool uses the YouTube read-only permission to identify the authorized channel and the YouTube upload permission to submit approved video files and associated publishing details, such as title, description and privacy selection. These permissions do not themselves grant access to Gmail, contacts or Google Drive. Any separate Google Drive connection is outside these YouTube permissions.

The information is used for the owner's requested channel-management and upload operations. This tool is not used to sell YouTube data, build advertising profiles or collect information from website visitors.

Processing and storage

Google/YouTube receives the information and files necessary to perform the approved API requests. Muse also processes the working materials and authorization needed to carry out those requests. These are necessary service providers, not a promise that no third party processes data.

According to the uploader setup supplied by the operator, YouTube authorization credentials are held in Muse's Secure Vault, separate from ordinary chat, memory and workspace files, and used for approved YouTube API requests. The configured credential is retained until the connector is disconnected or its authorization is replaced. Google can expire or revoke authorization independently. Authorization is not guaranteed to be permanent.

The uploader does not maintain a separate video-file repository. Working video copies remain in the Muse workspace until deleted. A Google Drive copy exists only if a separate upload to Drive was made. A video uploaded to YouTube remains there until deleted through YouTube, regardless of whether the uploader connection remains enabled. Muse's platform handling is governed by its own privacy information: https://muse.ai/privacy .

Disconnecting and deleting information

To withdraw the tool's Google access, review and remove the app connection at https://myaccount.google.com/connections and disconnect the YouTube connector in Muse. This withdraws authorization for future access; it does not automatically delete videos already uploaded or working files already created.

To remove working video files, delete those files in Muse's workspace. Remove any separately created Drive copies through Google Drive. Manage or delete uploaded YouTube videos through YouTube Studio. Contact thervdummies@gmail.com for questions or assistance with tool-related data deletion. No automatic deletion period is promised for workspace files.

Google and YouTube policies

Use of YouTube API Services is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms . Google's handling of information is described in its Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy .
